Summer Camp Program

 

At Soraya Montessori Academy, we are proud to be able to provide a summer camp that's fun and engaging at the same time. Our summer camp takes place during the months of June and July. We maintain the same Montessori environment as the normal school year and structure our camp with weekly themes. For instance, one week will be focused on outer space- learning the solar system, planets, making models, etc; while another week we will cover a single country such as Mexico and have a fiesta, do crafting, learn about their customs, people, foods, language, etc. Some things we do in our summer camp include:

 

• Special visitors that come in (firefighters, police department, dancers, theatre groups, storytellers, etc)

• Splash days- slip and slide

• Have a bounce house the entire summer camp

• Engaging activities like arts and crafts, music, face-painting, etc

• Academic learning environment to keep children stimulated and ready for the school year
